You don’t need to drink to get drunk anymore.  There’s a pill you can take that just, like, instantly makes you drunk.  I took one of those a day.  And, I don’t know, the fact that it’s a pill makes me feel less like an alcoholic, you know?  Because I’m not drinking anything, I’m just taking a pill.  The other night I emptied the pill bottle down the drain, but then I found this bottle of scotch in my cupboard.  I just looked at it like it was this alien artifact—and all I wanted was one of those pills.
