100 Words/16. Cancer

I had to take a week off because I have cancer.  I went to the doctor, and she said ‘You have cancer.  Take a week off.’  So I did.  They think I should be able to kick it with treatment in a little under a month, but it’s so annoying.  I had to cancel my trip to Greece even though it’s only stage four cancer and I was willing to wait to start treatment until I came back.  Hopefully one day you can just take a pill or something and that’s it—no more cancer.  One month?  It’s so annoying.
